Meet a Member: Migle Makuskaite

Economist by education and environmentalist by heart, Migle Makuskaite builds sustainable businesses solving climate change problems! At one of them, she helps companies achieve carbon neutrality by training and measuring their carbon footprint.

When Migle joined the Business of Purpose community she felt it was perfectly timed because she was looking for a tribe of like-minded people.

“For some time I was missing a community, not only for business people, but specifically for purpose driven business owners.”

Today she thinks the biggest problem in business is:

“How to balance short-term profits with long-term sustainability. In other words, how not to run business at the expense of future generations.”

Migle believes purpose-driven business is the future because:

“There are amazing side effects of purpose-driven businesses — for society, for the people involved, for the planet. I deeply believe they have a secret super-power that helps to reach clients and bring them satisfaction.”
